Borrowing Items from the SF State Library
Use your SFSUOneCard(student id card) to check out all materials and for other library services. The OneCard office is in Student Services Bldg. 103. Library floor plans lead you to where to find the books after you have the "Library of Congress call numbers" - basically our filing system code.
Borrowing Items from Other Libraries - a quick guide to borrowing from other libraries
1. Books can be borrowed from LINK+ , a collection of libraries that are mostly local that deliver books to SFSU, usually within 3 to 4 working days. LINK+ is a free service for SFSU faculty, staff and students. Books from LINK+ are checked out as if SFSU owns them, and they can be renewed too. The library emails you once the books have been delivered to Book Check Out/Circulation Services, located in HSS 107.
2. Books can be borrowed with Document Delivery Services via ILLiad. Document Delivery Services are a free service for SFSU faculty, staff and students. Delivery time is an unknown with this service. To use Illiad one must be registered. If you are a first time user please register.
