The following is a selective guide to books and resources available in the J. Paul Leonard Library or through the internet relevant to research on Arabs, Muslims and other Middle ethnic groups within the US as well as across their diasporas.

Library PIN

The Library PIN allows SFSU students, faculty and staff to access Library databases and other online resources, such as EBooks, from computers off campus, to renew books checked out, and to request books from other libraries via LINK+. Set up a Library PIN from the Library's homepage under Quick Links and the, Library Account/PIN.

Locating Books

To find books (and other materials) go to the Library homepage and select Library Catalog.

Books with the location "Library Retrieval System," need to be requested, using your Library PIN.Request items online and they will be ready for pick-up within 15 to 20 minutes (on business days) at the Book Check Out Desk on the 1st floor of the Library. .

Books with the location "3rd or 4th floor"," are located on the open shelves and do not need to be requested online. Open Shelf Books with call numbers from M-Z are located on the 3rd floor. Open Shelf books with call numbers from A-L are located on the 4th floor.
