Homeless Populations

  • Data + Research
From the National Alliance to End Homeless. Some reports include 2008 and 2008 homeless population counts at the state (not community) level.
  • Data, Reports, and Publications on Homeless Populations
From the Human Services Agency of San Francisco. Download the 2007 Homeless Count Reports, and look up your neighborhood by Supervisor District (see link below).
  • Homeless Populations Reports
From the Department of Housing and Urban Development. "Populations" section includes 2008 reports with aggregate (not community) data. See "Resources" sections in each report for key organizations, surveys and reports.
  • Research and Publications on Homeless Populations
From the US Department of Health and Human Services.
  • Researching Homelessness in the Bay Area
A research guide from Skyline College Library. Includes links to numerous local homelessness advocacy groups (many of whom collect data on homeless populations).
  • Supervisor District Lookup
Use the "Find Your District" tool first to locate the name of your Supervisor. Then return to the main page to find a map with Supervisor names and District numbers beneath it.
