In Our Library

You'll find some children's books in our library, including all major Newbery and Caldecott awards winners.

In the Bay Area

There are several other libraries and resources in the area with strong children's collections. Including:
  • The Cahill Learning Resources and Media Lab

On SF State Campus Burk Hall 319, it houses a collection of Multicultural children's Literature appropriate for use in K-12 classrooms, as well as other curriculum development materials.
  • San Francisco Public Library - Main Library - Civic Center

Larger fiction collection than at Merced Branch and the non-fiction collection is up to date. Children's literature available in many languages. All California residents may obtain a SF Public Library borrowing card regardless of county of residence.
